My brother Peter and I drove the Alcan highway twice. The first time was in 1960 with Edward Schwartz of Livingston Manor, NY. We delivered a car for friends of ours who lived in Fairbanks and had a new car in NE Pennsylvania near our home town. They gave us an old Jeep vehicle for the trip back.

The second trip was in 1963 while my brother Peter and I were graduate students in the Physics Department at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
