I was first licensed as an Amateur Radio Operator in September 1954 with the Novice call sign<\/span><\/strong> of WN3ZFL and Technician call sign of W3ZFL. A few months later, I upgraded to General class.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

During the early 1970’s, I upgraded my license to Extra Class and eventually was assigned the call W6XN.<\/h2>\n

\"ShackLosAltos\"<\/a> The ham shack in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.I was activeon all bands between 1296 MHz and 1.8 MHz as well as the OSCAR satellites.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am now active as W6XN in Auburn (primary home) and Truckee (vacation home), CA but with less elaborate stations.<\/h2>\n
